Description:
3.8.2011: Helga and Ilse: Feature works and is useful; so we are closing this issue.
31.8.2010: Julia Meier and Helga Willer: Not relevant for the new Eprint version anymore.
When uploading several documents in one Eprint, Orpgrints offers two options: Uploading several “Formats” and uploading several “Files” within one “Format”.
Uploading several “Formats” works fine.
When uploading several “Files” within one “Format”, only the File which has been uploaded first will be visible to the user of the database - all other files seem to remain hidden in the database.
I’ve had authors getting confused aboiut these options. I believe we should EITHER:
- Delete the option of uploading several “files” to one “Format” (I can’t see any use in having “Format” AND “File”, but maybe someone else can (-:)
OR:
- Instruct people who submit documents: “When does it make sense to use multiple “Files” to one “Format”?”
