EcoWiki is a site for cooperative web work on organic agriculture and food systems, and related issues. It has been established by Hugo Fjelsted Alrøe from the Danish Research Centre for Organic Farming.

HugoAlroe is administrator of EcoWiki. You can contact him by email at hugo.alroe (at) agrsci.dk.

Contributors should give a little information about themselves - choose an author name to use consistently and edit the accompaning page (e.g: find it in recent changes).

If you make a new group, please insert contact information to the responsible person somewhere visible.

• In order to help wiki newbies, I think we should implement standard text editor pagebreaks (pagebreaks in the editing box are shown as pagebreaks) instead of how it is now (pagebreaks in the editing box are ignored, special code needed to make a pagebreak). http://www.pmwiki.org/wiki/Cookbook/LineBreaks HugoAlroe

Eco Wiki Configuration

Eco Wiki is a PmWiki wiki that is slightly customized in terms of layout and additions.

• Setting passwords

It is possible to set edit and read passwords for pages or entire groups on ecowiki.org. See how to set passwords on the Passwords page. NOTE: The password action is password protected ;-) Send an email to the administrator HugoAlroe to get a password for the group(s) you want to manage. Then you can change edit and read passwords as you will.

• File uploads

File uploads are allowed and overwrites permitted. Max. file size 5Mb except for imagefiles, which are max. 100kb.

• InterMap

Additional Inter Map options are:
EcoWiki:YYYY will link to a search for YYYY on ecowiki.org
OrgPrints:XXXX will make a link to the the eprint with the (four digit) ID number XXXX in the Organic Eprints archive. This Wiki? $ScriptUrl This Page? $PageUrl

• Technical configuration

EcoWiki presently runs a PHP based diff engine [1].

• Future plans

Future plans include an email disguiser and adaptation of a ‘normal’ page break behaviour.
