4–10 May 2004:
Draft for proposal for papers/chapters and time schedule are revised within the expert group - authors’ agreements of contributions is given.

17 May 2004:
Revised proposal of papers/chapters and time schedule is send to experts and invited speakers.

7 June 2004:
Deadline new chapters (chapter 1,7, 9, 11, 12): Main authors submit an outline and synopsis of chapters.

20 June 2004:
Deadline existing chapters (chapter 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8): Co-authors submit their first contribution to the already existing draft, so that main authors may proceed to revise their paper. The contribution might be corrections in outline, addition (or changes) of pieces of text etc.

1 July 2004:
Deadline new chapters (chapter 1, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12): Co-authors contribute to the synopsis.The contribution might be corrections in outline, addition (or changes) of pieces of text etc.

15 September 2004:
Deadline all chapters: First authors send out (revised) draft for co-authors to comment and add to, papers circulate within each “chapter group”.

1 October 2004:
Deadline all chapters: Co-authors send contributions to main author of each chapter

7 October 2004:
Meeting in Expert Group at Foulum

8 November 2004:
All main authors send the following to DARCOF: 1) synthesis of their chapter for the synthesis chapter 13 and 2) future research areas related to their chapter for chapter 12.

15 November 2004:
Deadline for final paper drafts uploaded by main author to all.

16 November 2004:
“Økologi-Kongres” – presentation of the knowledge synthesis (see www.okologi-kongres.dk).

22 November 2004:
Chapter drafts are send to intern review

6 December 2004:
Chapter drafts back from reviewer
